    Shila said:  Keeping in mind safety and property privacy, making it a point to enact on random acts of kindness can be a great activity for kids to do on a walk. For example, toss up your neighbor's newspaper from the bottom of the driveway closer to their front door, or remove fallen sticks from the sidewalk path, etc. Another act of kindness can include picking a nearby weed or two out from its roots - though you may want to bring gardening gloves for that one.
