Gina I. said:  You've never been to a race quite like this! The annual pumpkin race is a single elimination race that features innovative, and handcrafted pumpkin racers! Racers can get a little design assistance and racing supplies at the Pit Row Booth, offering wheels, axels, tools and even decorations! Just bring a pumpkin and get ready to have fun! Prizes are awarded to race winners as well as Best Decoration, Most Innovative Design, and Best Crash! Be sure to check out the race rules for more info.

Bring the entire family to Wilson Park for Halloween Movie in the Park! Wear your costumes and bring your blankets and chairs. There will be a live DJ, costume parade and a viewing of the family friendly, not-too-scary movie, The Addams Family (2019, rated PG).

If Halloween is the holiday that your family lives for, then make this year like no other with an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge. In addition to all the regular amenities, the lodge is hosting special Halloween events throughout October. Be sure to bring your costumes for the Monster Bash Dance Party, the mostly funny and slightly spooky, UnBooklievable Story Time, Halloween crafts for kids, and the Trick-or-Treat Trail.

Not only is the zoo decked out in Halloween decor, but kids will enjoy special pumpkin animal feedings, live shows, the Extinct Animal Graveyard, and trick-or-treating on select days. Costumes are encouraged, and the zoo features some great Halloween-themed photo ops. So, be sure to bring your camera!

In fact, you may even see the headless horseman riding down Main Street! Costumes that meet park guidelines are welcome.
