    The Sandlot (1993)

    Katie G.:  This movie is perfect for the baseball loving kids in the family. In the summer of 1962, a boy named Scotty Smalls moves into a new California suburban neighborhood trying hard to fit in. He meets a group of baseball loving boys who invite him to play ball at the Sandlot. Unfortunately for Smalls, he hits a ball over the fence behind the Sandlot which lands in the yard with "the beast". Watch the kids' adventures as they try and get their ball back.

    Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)

    Beth Wood:  This hilarious comedy stars Robin Williams as a father who wants to spend more time with his children after his divorce. In order to do so, he dresses up and takes on the persona of a British nanny and applies for a job with the family. Keeping up with the charade leads to many funny situations. Some adult themes and language are expressed so this is better suited as a movie for tweens and older.

    Tim Ponisciak:  This classic from the 90s is a great movie for kids just getting started in sports, as it teaches the value in trying your hardest and never giving up on your dreams, even if you are not the most talented player on your team.

    A League of Their Own (1992)

    Erika Roh...:  Based on true events, A League of Their Own is a wonderful, family friendly movie about the first ever professional womens baseball league. Set in World War II era, when men were off at war, the baseball team owners were in need of keeping the game alive. They started scouting women from all over the country to create a new baseball league. When these women come together, it's a mixture of love, laughter, tears, sisterhood and baseball!

    Jumanji (1995)

    Beth Wood:  Robin Williams stars in this action-packed family friendly movie about a board game that magically transports its players to the jungles of Jumanji. Players can also bring the jungle to them by opening and playing the board game. It's quite an adventure!

    The Parent Trap (1998)

    Erika Roh...:  Meeting at summer camp, two girls discover they have more in common than just looks...they're twins that have been separated! The girls set a sneaky and hilarious plan in motion to bring their parents back together.

    Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993)

    Vanessa M.:  Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey is a Disney family classic that follows three family pets as they embark on a long adventure-filled journey home after being accidentally displaced. This feel-good movie is full of laughs, action, suspense, and a whole live animal cast that will keep your family entertained.

    Free Willy (1993)

    Tim Ponisciak:  Free Willy tells the tale of a boy looking for a friend and a captive whale. This is a great movie for any kids who need a little encouragement or motivation to break out of their shell. There are also many sequels to the movie if you have kids who love the sea.

    Space Jam (1996)

    Dawn Denning:  A team of Looney Tunes enlist the aid of Michael Jordan to play the ultimate game of basketball. Your kids will laugh and learn a lesson in hard work during this fun family movie.

    Babe (1995)

    Kelly R.:  A barnyard of talking animals teaches some important lessons about kindness and compassion as Babe the pig tries to make himself useful herding sheep to avoid his likely fate. One of the best family movies from the 90s to share with younger kids!

    What About Bob? (1991)

When Dr. Leo Marvin wants to enjoy a relaxing vacation with his family, his lovable but troubled patient, Bob Wiley, follows him, wheedles his way into his family, and ultimately drives Dr. Marvin off the deep end!
